m5 lab 9

  For lab 9 I chose to make dipping chocolate. For my dipper I used sliced bananas.























- My chocolate covered bananas were amazing. The sweetness from the chocolate and the banana complemented each other very well. I tried them while the chocolate was still warm so it was nice and gooey but I do plan to stick the rest of them in the freezer to get them crunchy. 

- What went really well during this was trying a new fruit to dip in chocolate, I have previously done chocolate covered strawberries but the bananas were a game changer. If I were to do this again I would try putting the chocolate in a mixing bowl over boiling water method instead of the microwave method. 

- What happened to the chocolate when in the melting process is that it goes from a solid to a liquid state. It is the breaking down of intermoleculars that hold the chocolate together.
